Awwwww, wasn't that... um... disturbing?

Apologies for letting some arbitrary merchandising excuse influence the GCW storyline today, but remember - Valentine's Day is about love, romance, and spending lots of money - for many of us. For the rest of us, it's all about being bitter, twisted and alone. But slightly richer. Like Ebenezer Scrooge. Bah, humbug.

I just managed to insert this cartoon in to the "Parallel Universe Of Pure Evil" storyline because of Valentine's Day and everything seems to still make chronological sense. Except that Leona is absent from the final showdown between Good and Evil, but she appears in later episodes. But - Uh-oh! Does this mean that the Parallel Universe Of Pure Evil WINS? Anyway, it's time for me to rant about Walt Disney's characters. Okay, Mickey Mouse was paired up with Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck with Daisy Duck, and Goofy with... Pluto? No. Well anyway, the point is that Minne and Daisy were just parallel-universe doubles of Mickey and Donald, but they'd just turned out female instead of male. Where's the creativity, people? There's nothing wrong with inter-racial relationships! Okay, so pairing Minnie Mouse off with, say, Porky Pig might have caused a bit of controversy back in the early 20th century, but come on, people! It's The Millennium - haven't we outgrown these ignorant prejudices, in this enlightened age of cultural sensitivty?
