17/12/02: The Plot Blackens...
Ooh, drive-by abduction... I dunno about that one there... Are we allowed to use that for humourous effect yet? M'h, too bad. It'll get much worse on Thursday. Oh, so much worse (i.e. funnier!).
So, does Papa Goth's sister Megan look familiar? Why, yes, I've reincorporated that random character from Spuddy and the Vegetarians. Except that she's not strictly a vegetarian, she's a vegan. Hence "Megan the Vegan". It has a nice ring to it, almost to the point of sounding like a playground taunt.
I was also careful not to contradict any previous episodes, by giving Brainy Goth (AKA "Brian". Note: This is a pun-name and is not inspired by anyone called Brian, or anyone whose middle name is Brian) a wicked stepmother. Remember the Goths' debut appearance in GCW over a year ago, titled "The Goths"? In that episode, the Goths claimed that their parents were "all in nut-houses". So of course Brainy Goth had to be the one to end up with a wicked stepmother.
Today's Quote:
"Like all the best families, we have our share of eccentricities, of impetuous and wayward youngsters and of family disagreements."
- Elizabeth II
