PHASE TWO: GET AHEAD OF SCHEDULE
It is a good idea that when aiming for 24 pages in 24 hours, one's first few pages should be churned out at a rate of one per hour.
The first 12 hours of this 24 hour comic were the toughest. Maybe this is generally true for most 24 hour comics? I was just keeping one hour ahead
of myself until the halfway point, where I realised that there were two page 10s. In my haste I hadn't noticed just how fast I really was going (or how many mistakes I'd made!).
An easy and obvious way to get ahead of schedule is to make single-frame pages - there's no rule against doing that. Some artists like to keep the title page separate for the comic and exclude it from the final page count.
I've made mine part of the story, like those movies/TV shows that tell you what you're watching, after the intro is over and done with.
